Opportunity
Doodlebugz Preschool is a family-like setting with mix aged groups, learning abilities, and developmental levels. We strive to help our children begin to build positive self-images, close friendships with peers, manners and further develop their interpersonal relationship skills.
Doodlebugz assists with communication skills, motor skills, self-advocacy and perseverance through in the moment, captured opportunities and a variety of play scenarios.
Activity Based
At Doodlebugz Preschool we use age appropriate curriculum and activities which are aligned with the CA state standards in school readiness. We have large concept monthly themed lessons with mini weekly crafts, learning activities, and games that support the monthly theme. We keep our teacher:child ratios small (1:3-4), to ensure your child is receiving a high level of individualized instruction.
Children are provided opportunities to learn through free play, structured learning and positive reinforcement.
A focus on the skills most imperative for children to develop at this stage in life are embedded into all we do at Doodlebugz:
- Functional Communication Skills (Expressive and Receptive)
- Motor Skills (Gross, Fine and Oral)
- Self-Help and Independence Skills (Manners, Toilet Training, Dressing, Hygiene)

Family Connection
Doodlebugz provides an invitation upon enrolling to the Brightwheel App. This application allows our teachers to communicate with you throughout the day on how amazing your child is doing. We post photos, videos, notes, activities, schedules and so much more through this app. In addition, we use Brightwheels calendar, message board, documents, and billing features. We feel its just another way we can stay connected , close and communicating!
