Doodlebugz Details

We are a licensed large family daycare which adheres to the CDSS guidelines and policies. In addition we are partnered with CoCo Kids to provide healthy meals everyday.  This includes breakfast, lunch, an AM and a PM snack.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm and we are located near Crow Canyon Road and Camino Tassajara Road. Our rates vary depending on the age of your child and if your interest is in part-time or full-time care.

We absolutely love teaching!  We have found that repetition and thematic units produces the best results in your child's learning.  Therefore we like to make things fun and implement silly holidays, related events, and celebrations into our monthly learning.

For example, our August themed unit for the month was Insects/Bugs.  We incorporated the alphabet, sounds, numbers, patterns, stories, songs and crafts into our lesson plans, all of which had a bug theme.  It was a blast!  We made tissue paper butterflies, popsicle stick dragonflies, and even had our wormy dirt snack (sugar free pudding and gummy worms with Oreo crumbs).  We also learned about ladybugs and butterflies life cycles and released our own 500 ladybugs into the backyard to help our flowers/plants stay healthy and watched the lifecycle of a caterpillar into a butterfly in our classroom.
